Career snapshot

With a Father coming from technology, and a Mother coming from interior design, it was unsurprising to discover, during my formative years, a natural affinity for blending logic and creativity. I quickly discovered that problem-solving provided deep satisfaction, and, when solved with creativity, a sense of joy. I first landed a role in London as a Digital Designer after studying New Media at the University of Leeds, a bachelor's degree focusing on visual communications, interaction design, and design management. After five years of gaining experience in branding and identity, digital marketing and campaigns, user experience, and agile development, it was time to learn more about myself and explore my edges as a designer, and human being.

In 2015, I made the move to Berlin and began a new chapter at an agency quickly gaining traction as a pioneer in HCD, Fjord. There, I learned the rewarding process of designing for human needs across multiple industries including healthcare, financial services, and government. One day we might be innovating a health service for migraine sufferers; the next developing life-centric trends for the automotive industry—no project was the same. As a Design Lead, my responsibilities grew to include project and client relationship management, guiding interdisciplinary teams—including product, service, and business designers—and ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with business objectives.

Design is present in every part of our lives—shaping how we work, move, eat, and connect. It can be a galvanising force for good—or an enabler of destruction. As the devastating impacts of 'business as usual' became impossible to ignore, I felt a duty to guide organisational leaders toward doing more good—not just less harm. This realisation led me to deepen my expertise in climate-related knowledge and work more exclusively on sustainability projects for the last four years, from creating tools to design for the circular economy to defining strategies for the sustainable use of materials.

In short, I envision an equitable, kind, and abundant world, and my purpose is to restlessly develop holistic solutions that solve real problems and contribute positively to the world.
